On January 10, with a long whistle, a CRE train loaded with 1,300 tons of Kazakhstani processed flour slowly entered the Xi'an Aiju Grain and Oil Industrial Group Park via the dedicated railway line at Xi'an International Port Station. This marked the successful arrival of the first "door-to-door" New Year's freight train operated by the CRE train service in Xi'an.
This special train achieved direct delivery from an overseas warehouse to a domestic warehouse by utilizing a dedicated railway line that runs directly into the company's factory area. The "door-to-door" transport model eliminates the need for road transit, significantly enhancing transportation efficiency and reducing costs for enterprises.
In recent years, the continuous expansion of the CRE train (Xi'an) operations has brought an increasing variety of foreign goods to the domestic market, offering citizens new daily consumption options. In 2024, the CRE train (Xi'an) operated over 4,900 trips, maintaining national leadership in key metrics such as operational frequency, cargo volume and container utilization rates. Currently, Xi'an International Port Station has opened 18 international transport routes for the CRE train, covering all major cargo sources across Europe and Asia. This has established a "golden channel" for international trade characterized by low costs, high efficiency and excellent service.
