On January 5, with the implementation of the new national railway schedule, CR-Harbin increased the number of high-speed trains running between Harbin and Yabuli from an average of 34 to 51 per day, ensuring smooth travel for passengers attending the 9th Asian Winter Games.

During the event, the railway faced overlapping demands from Spring Festival travel and ice-and-snow tourism, resulting in concentrated passenger flows. To address this, Harbin Railway authority actively allocated transportation resources, added trains, provided advanced staff training, introduced innovative services, and deployed new technological equipment. In April 2024, Harbin Railway authority completed the electrification upgrade of Yabulinan Railway Station and renovated both Yabulixi Railway Station and Yabulinan Railway Station. Following the renovation, Yabulixi Railway Station expanded to over 3,000 square meters, accommodating up to 600 passengers daily, nearly three times its previous capacity.

Yabulinan Railway Station, located just 500 meters from the Yabuli Ski Resort, is one of the closest train stations to a ski resort in China and has been recognized as one of the most beautiful small stations in the country. Qin Pengyu, the stationmaster of the station, stated, "Now, the train journey from Harbin Railway Station to Yabulinan Railway Station takes only 2 hours and 15 minutes, more than an hour faster than before. Plus, the station's proximity to the scenic area allows visitors to enjoy more time at their destination."
