"400 new energy vehicles' overseas orders must make tonight's shipping deadline." With the Chinese New Year approaching, Xu Yanlin, station master of Huangdao Railway Station at Qingdao Car Transport Depot of CR-Jinan, briefly covered his phone's receiver during a call, relaying the day's operations to his staff. After a brief discussion, the workers quickly dispersed, leaving Xu alone in the meeting room. Beneath the calm exterior, a "spring festival export rush" was already underway.

Located near Qingdao Port, Huangdao Railway Station handles the railway freight consolidation and distribution tasks for the port's front bay area. Goods from provinces such as Shandong, Henan and Shanxi are transported via the efficient railway network and transferred to the port for loading and shipment overseas. In 2024, the station shipped 51.465 million tons of goods, with an average daily throughput exceeding 140,000 tons.

Before the Spring Festival, the export of vehicles sees a peak delivery period, and Huangdao Railway Station is experiencing its own version of the "Spring Festival Transport Rush" for exports.
