In 2024, marking the 11th anniversary of CRE train (Xi'an), the total number of operations reached 4,985, reflecting a 25.1% YoY growth. Core indicators, including number of operations, freight volume and container loading rates, remain the highest in the country. The CRE train (Xi'an) has become a "golden channel" for opening up the western region of China.
Following the launch of the Xi'an-Poti, Georgia route last year, the number of international mainline routes served by the CRE train (Xi'an) increased to 18, covering the entire Eurasian continent. New cooperation cities, such as Taizhou in Zhejiang and Suqian in Jiangsu, were added, bringing the total number of “+Western Europe” consolidated routes to 26. In partnership with Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group, 498 eastbound sea-rail intermodal trains were operated, a 15.5% increase. Additionally, southbound trains were launched to destinations such as Vietnam and Laos, creating a convergence of the Eurasian land-sea trade corridor and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor in Xi'an, forming a modern logistics system that connects Eurasia and reaches globally.
