On October 23, the Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway successfully completed the first span of a cast-in-place beam using a moveable formwork beam at the grand bridge crossing the Yangtze River Expressway, achieving "bridge construction in the air" and marking a critical breakthrough in the moveable formwork construction for the entire line.
The Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network along the coast. Once completed, it will enable travel between Shenzhen and Jiangmen in under one hour and connectivity between Shenzhen and the Nansha Free Trade Zone in Guangzhou in half an hour.
