"Yangtze River Train" Exceeds 1,200 Departures

      Chengdu, October 11 (Reported by Hu Zhiqiang and Chen Dan) - On October 9, a "Yangtze River Train" loaded with cargo departed from Yueyangnan Railway Station in Hunan, heading toward Lianjie Railway Station in Sichuan. Since its first departure on December 10, 2023, the "Yangtze River Train" has operated more than 1,200 trips, transporting over 60,000 TEUs of goods, with a total value exceeding 5.5 billion yuan. This service has injected powerful momentum into helping Sichuan establish itself as a strategic hub for opening to the west and a new base for international competition. It has accelerated the formation of a new pattern of openness that advances both eastward and westward, integrates domestic and international efforts, and connects land and sea.
