Projects like the China-Laos Railway, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway and the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway have become shining examples of China and ASEAN's joint efforts to build the "Belt and Road" Initiative (BRI). As of September 30, the China-Laos Railway had operated 58,700 passenger trains, transporting over 40 million passengers, and attracting more than 282,000 international travelers from 101 countries and regions for cross-border journeys. The Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway has transported over 5.4 million passengers, with an average of 16,000 passengers daily. In the first half of this year, the transport volume of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor rail-sea intermodal trains increased by 20.8%.
