The railway transportation period for the National Day Golden Week ran from September 29 to October 8. During these 10 days, 177 million passengers were transported by the national railway, with a record-high of 21.448 million passengers on October 1 alone.
The national railway transported 115 million tons of cargo during this period, including a historical high of 11.72 million tons of goods sent on September 30.
