Guangzhounan Railway Station is expected to add about 1,000 trains, with Guangzhou to Nanning, Guangzhou to Zhanjiang, and Guangzhou to Shantou among the top ten routes with heavy passenger traffic nationwide. From September 29 to October 8, CR-Xi'an is expected to transport 5.7 million passengers, with October 1 and 7 being peak travel days. To meet the demand, CR-Xi'an plans to add 62.5 pairs of trains, focusing mainly on routes from Xi'an to Beijing, Shanghai, Taiyuan and Chengdu. Additionally, a nighttime high speed train from Xi'an to Wuhan will be launched for the first time.
