Leveraging its trade advantages, Linyi's logistics industry has grown rapidly, with over 3,000 logistics routes reaching all major ports and cities above the county level across China. The city has been honored with the title of "China's Logistics Capital" by the China Communications and Transportation Association. In 2023, the total logistics volume of Linyi reached 933.4 billion yuan.

To further advance its logistics capabilities, Linyi has planned and is developing a 176-square-kilometer modern logistics city in the western part of Lanshan District. This area is divided into four key zones: Linyi Commerce Valley, an international land port, an industrial base and a riverside residential area. The international land port houses functions such as a railway logistics park, express delivery sorting center and highway logistics hub, attracting several smart logistics park projects. In this July, more than 1,700 logistics companies from Lanshan District relocated from scattered old logistics parks in the city to 12 newly established logistics parks located next to the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway.

As one of Shandong Province's three main hubs for Asia-Europe freight trains, Linyi has launched 24 CRE train routes. By facilitating international logistics and building marketing networks, Linyi's International Mall has expanded efficiently. Currently, Linyi has established 31 overseas malls and warehouses, continuously deepening the development model of "market procurement + cross-border e-commerce + overseas warehouses" to promote the internationalization of its commerce.
