Focusing on serving the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" Initiative (BRI), and promoting the CRE trains toward higher quality, better efficiency, and enhanced safety, the Alataw Pass leverages its geographical advantages and industry strengths to enhance its service capabilities continuously. Currently, the number of CRE trains passing through the station is steadily increasing, with a more diverse range of goods being transported, including daily necessities, home appliances, clothing and chemicals, helping "Made in China" products reach markets in Central Asia, Europe and beyond.
To further improve the efficiency of CRE train transportation, Alataw Pass has strengthened its transportation coordination with Kazakhstan's Dostyk Border Station, utilized the capacity of the newly added second line of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway between Jinghe and Alashankou, enhanced border transshipment capabilities, and promoted the rapid customs clearance model. This has facilitated the regular operation of CRE trains via the Trans-Caspian route, expanded the scale of full-schedule CRE trains, and launched customized trains for products such as new energy vehicles and cross-border e-commerce, providing high-quality international logistics services.
