On the morning of August 20, the first "Chongqing-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Freight Train," loaded with auto parts, electronic products and other goods, departed from Chongqing's Tuanjiecun Railway Station. The train is expected to reach Shenzhen's Yantian Port within two days, after which the goods will be transshipped to Hong Kong's Kwai Tsing Port and loaded onto international vessels bound for Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia. With the launch of the train, the transportation time for goods from Chongqing to Shenzhen has been reduced from five days to two days, providing a new maritime route for goods from the Chengdu-Chongqing region.
