     Beijing, August 19 (Reported by Han Xiaoming) - On the 19th, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning stated at a regular press conference that in recent years, the transportation time of China-Vietnam freight trains has significantly shortened, and customs clearance efficiency has continuously improved, making it a fast track for promoting trade exchanges.

  Mao Ning mentioned that the China-Vietnam freight trains first began operating in November 2017, opening a new logistics channel between China and Vietnam. In recent years, the transportation time of these trains has significantly shortened, customs clearance efficiency has continuously improved, the hub functions have been further optimized, and the variety of goods entering and leaving the countries has significantly increased. The trains have become a fast track for promoting trade exchanges.

  Mao Ning added that China and Vietnam are socialist neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. The General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the State, T? Lam, is currently on a state visit to China. Leaders of the two parties and countries are having in-depth discussions on cooperation in various fields. "We believe that this visit will further advance connectivity cooperation between the two countries, deepen the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future, and bring greater benefits to the people of both countries."
