In response to recent rainfall across the country, CR-Urumqi has dynamically adjusted the operation plans for some passenger trains based on weather impacts, taking measures such as reducing speed or suspending services to preemptively mitigate safety risks. To address the high demand for ticket cancellations and changes, it has organized additional staff at key station positions, opened more manual service windows for ticket changes and refunds, and increased the number of passenger service personnel. Information about train operations is promptly communicated to passengers via station screens, broadcasts and other platforms, with efforts focused on efficiently handling inquiries and ticket adjustments.
Additionally, CR-Urumqi is strengthening seasonal safety measures, focusing on security checks, station and train fire safety, passenger boarding and alighting and workplace safety. They are conducting safety risk assessments and reinforcing preventive measures. While organizing temporary train services, CR-Urumqi is paying close attention to key aspects such as train routes, door safety management for trains with large passenger flows, and the organization of boarding and alighting processes to ensure safe and orderly transportation. In light of the increased number of High Speed trains and adjusted passenger train routes during the summer, it is prioritizing personnel reinforcement and pre-job training to successfully tackle the summer transportation challenges, providing strong support for safe and orderly passenger travel.
