To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit brought forward during the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and to implement the requirements of the Party group of CR on railway cultural construction, the Outstanding Literary and Artistic Works Exhibition on Railway Calligraphy, Fine Arts, and Photography with the theme of “the vanguard of serving and supporting China’s modernization” opened at the China Railway Museum on January 16.
The exhibition, organized by the Chinese Railway Literary Federation, co-organized by the China Railway Museum and the PeopleRail Newspaper Co., Ltd., featured 120 outstanding literary and artistic works. It presented the audience with a visual feast of railway cultural art, providing spiritual strength for the railway sector as the vanguard of serving and supporting China's modernization.
The 120 works exhibited were selected by experts from within and outside the railway system, focusing on the level of artistic creation skills. The works, which won first, second, and third prizes, come from the frontline of vibrant railway production. They include calligraphy works featuring excerpts from important speeches by President Xi Jinping, thematic artistic works showcasing the high-quality development of the railway, and photographic works documenting the fascinating stories of the Chinese railways. Through rich artistic language and unique artistic perspectives, these works record and showcase the tremendous achievements of the railway in the new era and on the new journey, praising the new appearance of the officers and employees as they advance on a new journey and make new contributions.
Since July 2023, the Chinese Railway Literary Federation, focusing on the theme of the vanguard of serving and supporting China’s modernization, has organized literary and artistic works exhibitions and skill competitions. It has mobilized railway literary and artistic backbone members and enthusiasts to participate in exhibitions and competitions, receiving positive responses from literary federations at all levels across the railway system. The literary and artistic backbone members from the 18 local bureaus of CR, various directly affiliated units, and the railway public security system adhered to the creative orientation of “centering on the people,” focused on the frontline, facing the employees and the people. They delved into the frontline of railway transportation and construction, highlighting the ideology, theme, and the people. They concentrated on creating more than a thousand high-quality cultural and artistic works, participating in the selection process.
