On December 10, 21 freight trains were dispatched from the Boten Railway Station of the China-Laos Railway, including 14 trains heading to China, setting a new daily record for the number of freight trains. Since its opening in December 2021, the Laos section of the China-Laos Railway has operated nearly 13,000 freight trains, transporting a total of 10.86 million tons of goods.
