The convenient logistics corridor provided by the China-Laos Railway has also opened up broader market opportunities for agricultural and industrial products. Since its launch, the railway has transported over 200,000 tons of fruit, more than 50,000 tons of vegetables, and over 10,000 tons of "new three items"—photovoltaics, new energy vehicles, and lithium batteries. This has driven the transformation and upgrading of industries along the route and supported economic development. Statistics show that since the railway's opening, thousands of jobs in cargo handling, logistics, security, and sanitation have been created along the line, indirectly generating more than 100,000 jobs. Laotian workers account for nearly 60% of the employees involved in the railway's operation and maintenance, becoming Laos' first generation of railway technical talent.
