On May 12, the X9596 train of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, loaded with polyethylene from the United Arab Emirates, coconut sugar from Sri Lanka, leisure shoes from Vietnam and other goods, departed from the Qinzhougangdong Railway Station in Guangxi, heading to the Tuanjiecun Railway Station in Chongqing. This marks the cargo volume of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor trains exceeding 300,000 TEUs this year.

Qinzhou is an important node on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, where trains, trucks and ships seamlessly connect, gathering goods from western China and ASEAN countries. Above the giant cargo ships, bridge cranes shuttle back and forth, placing containers on unmanned automated guided vehicles. The fully automated intelligent gantry cranes at the Qinzhou Railway Container Center Station and the automated container terminals at Qinzhou Port form a complete ecological system.

Since the beginning of this year, the export goods transported by the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor trains have mainly been auto parts, motorcycle parts and generator parts produced in Sichuan, Guangxi, Chongqing and other places. Import goods mainly include margarine from Indonesia and pulp from Vietnam. The variety of transported goods has increased to 1,143 types.
