Recently, the first "China-Laos-Thailand-Malaysia" all-rail rapid freight train, carrying goods such as LCD monitors and new energy vehicles, departed from Chengdu International Railway Port and traveled via the China-Laos Railway to Vientiane, Laos. It then continued to Thailand and finally reached Klang, Malaysia.

This batch of goods exported from China to Malaysia was transported via the China-Laos Railway and subsequent rail connections, achieving direct all-rail transportation. The goods departed from Chengdu, arrived in Thailand within 5 days, and reached Malaysia within 8 days. Compared to traditional maritime routes, this all-rail transportation method significantly reduces transportation costs and greatly improves transportation efficiency, compressing transportation time by about 50%.

"The launch of the 'China-Laos-Thailand-Malaysia' all-rail rapid freight train effectively expands the radiation range of international freight trains on the China-Laos Railway and promotes the construction of cross-border trade systems between China and Southeast Asian countries," said a representative from China Railway International Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd.
